54 years young the Allen Tate Companies have just begun. In April of 1957, Allen Tate’s vision to create the Carolina’s premier independent market dominant residential homes services company was born. The road of being a one stop Realtor / Insurer with choices began in uptown Charlotte.
You can enjoy a fabulous video that traces the life path of this organization on our website. While the video does a tremendous job showcasing our history, it will not show that, in the past 10 years, we have had over 22 independent family owned companies join us in our vision to become the market dominant residential homes services company. As we expanded our footprint we joined forces with great companies that were doing great work and put gasoline on a fire that was already burning!
It has been very gratifying to see what the word “choices” has meant to our clients through the years, especially the thousands of insurance policy holders we have. The convenience of one stop services is well understood and is the model of choice in many fields. We don’t represent one insurance carrier or one mortgage lender like many of our friends. Just as you want the best providers possible building your home, we want the same for ours. That is why our company, our home, has been built upon the foundation of many of the best providers in the country.
Our creed “the journey will never end” is a statement we have and continue to live by. We want future generations in cities and towns all over the Carolinas to have the advantage of making us part of their home ownership experience (be it their first or their last). Taking the hassle out of homeownership at the time of sale or purchase, and all the months and years in-between, is what we dedicate ourselves to accomplishing.
We are not your everyday 54 year old. In contrast, we are a company that feels more like my 10 year-old, filled with creativity, passion, and the zeal to recreate and innovate!
