Would you like to know why The Carolinas are a great place to live?

For starters we have beautiful beaches, gorgeous mountains, weather that can’t be beat and an area rich in history and tradition. Newcomers are always impressed with the quality of life, the cost of living, and the opportunities that are available here.  Not convinced? Well then, let’s look at some of the stats:

Money Magazine, ranked two of North Carolina’s cities, Cary and Chapel Hill in its Top 50 “Best Places to Live in 2010”:

“In the heart of North Carolina’s Research Triangle, Cary N.C. boasts one of the lowest crime rates in the nation, AAA bond ratings from Moody’s, and an unemployment rate below the country’s average.

Portfolio.com named Raleigh, N.C. as the major metropolitan market that offers the best quality of life in the United States:

“…its high-profile universities, led by North Carolina State, have cemented its reputation as an educational center. And its status as a state capital, which has brought political prominence and economic stability.”

Perhaps one of the most compelling stats to be released however, can be found in a recent article published in USA Today which stated that North Carolina, Idaho and several other states are those that are leading the nation out of “the worst recession since the 1930s.”  The National Bureau of Economic Research declared that the recession that began in December 2007 ended in June 2009 and since then, North Carolina is ranked #5 amongst states whose personal income has increased.

Even when the recession was at its worst, we continued to work with individuals, families and companies who wished to call The Carolinas home. Why? Because, we’ve built a reputation based around economic opportunity.
