Housing in Six Words

Talbots.com has posted a fun, online game called “Tales of Denim”. It is based on the Earnest Hemingway challenge to write a complete short story in six words. Talbots has invited its customers to submit their 6-word story about their favorite jeans to win the ultimate prize…a four person trip to Paris. (entries are due by September 8th) Of course, I couldn’t help but take the challenge…

What are my favorite memories of my jeans as a 6-word story?

  • Just dried and they still zip!
  • Finally home…time for my jeans.

Humm…my memories aren’t that exciting…surely there are better ones….maybe:

  • Single girl looking for perfect fit.
  • Happy new Mommy – old jeans zip!
  • Loving sister turns vicious over jeans.

Then, as I do with everything, I switched my thoughts to Real Estate. Surely, if there are exciting 6-word jeans stories…there are fantastic 6-word stories about housing! What could they be?

  • WOW…Positive! We need another bedroom!
  • New job! New city…Bye Home.
  • I graduated! Finally…my own place.
  • Preparing for retirement. Buying a rental.

There are so many exciting stories about why our clients buy and sell their homes. What’s your 6-word story?
